WildLife in India
The Indian sub-continent houses a rich plethora of wildlife. From the great range of Himalayas in the north to the virgin forests in the south, and from the mangrove swamps in the east to the sprawling deserts of the west, the natural habitats in India are home to some of the rarest species of wildlife in the world.
These include about 350 species of mammals, 2100 species and sub-species of birds and about 20,000 species of insects.Wild life is one of nature's most beautiful gifts to mankind, which is no less than a precious natural wealth. It embraces all living creatures, non-domesticated and found wild in nature. More more details :- http://www.HillsGuide.com

Well tonight at 11:45PM we will hop on a sleeper train to head north to a town called Darjeeling. We are planning on going white water rafting, a four day trek to see some views of the Himalayas and visit a tea plantation! Our lungs are jumping for joy at the thought of clean/clear air to breath for a few days! Our ears are rejoicing at the silence that we will encounter:) And we're just happy to get away from this busy crazy city for a week!I don't know how much access we'll have to the internet, so if we don't write for a while, don't be alarmed!:)Love you all and love your comments!:)Danielle
